Description :

The beluga whale is completely white when adult. The newborn is dark brown, the young are gray blue. The average size of adults is between 3 and 4.5 m for a maximum of 6 m in large males. The weight varies from 700 to 1500 kgs. The head is small and mobile. It has a large fat mass called the melon located on its forehead. Belugas have from 8 to 11 conical and pointed teeth half-jaw. They have no dorsal fin.
